Sounds of Silence
Process efficiency and GEO’s anchor Kamran Khan

umalik:

My calculations show that if Kamran Khan can speak straight without repeating himself a zillion times and making wrong Urdu sentence structure he can actually complete his talk of 41 minutes in 21 minutes. That is not only nearly 50% efficiency increase but just imagine how much of my brain cells will live to see another day!

LOL!

If you can’t seem to get anything in life right, at least get your salaahs in order. Pray them on time, pray them with khushoo, pray them with sincerity, pray each of them as if they were your last. Never neglect your salaah because once the salaah is gone, there is absolutely nothing left.

My MCAT tuitions start tomorrow. I may have to go either everyday or 3 days a week for the next 4 months and study the entire course of a different board all over again. Augh I hate tuitions!

If being ugly in the eyes of the creation means being beautiful in the eyes of the Creator, then it’s worth it.

I personally don’t feel like I get along that well with males. It’s easy to joke around with them and what not, but when it comes to a serious conversation I feel like I’m more likely to get annoyed.

Guys don’t really take anything seriously. They just want to joke around and have a good time. I can sit down and have a never ending conversation with a female, but I feel like the conversation with a male dies after about five minutes.

oh gosh GPOY.

There are three essential parts to every message: The sender of the message, the receiver of the message, and the content of the message, i.e. the message itself.

Allah (swt) begins the Quran by telling us who the sender is,

and He ends the Quran by telling you who the receiver is,

and in between these two verses, is His pure, unadulterated, un-altered, perfect, divine message.

I attended my first ever Islamic lecture today

Alhamdulilah it was such an awesome experience :D It was a live online lecture by Shaikh Omer Sulaiman at Marriott Hotel, Karachi. I saw some really gorgeous abayas too, definitely buying one soon inshaAllah!
Aaaa I loved the entire event, I’ve felt so alone (in regards to company) for some time now and it was amazing seeing so many people up on a Sunday morning for the sake of Allah SWT.

Prawns, yukkkh.

How DARE you insult the best seafood ever?! :O

And we will start this revolution over.

I’m starting to see wisdom in the viewpoint of Ahlul-us-Sunnah Wal-Jamaah regarding revolutions.

Still need to do quite a bit of reading on this subject though!
